Planora offers a range of physical planning tools — scale pieces on magnetic gridboards, designed to work alone or together.

01 — Choose your kit

Start with a planner or build the full system

The Room Planner and Garden Planner are the core tools — each comes with gridboards, furniture, and building pieces. Add-ons like extra Furniture, People, Building Elements, or a Sketchpad extend what’s possible.

02 — Place and explore

Move pieces freely. Test and compare layouts.

Place scale furniture and building pieces directly onto the magnetic board. Rearrange, rotate, test different layouts — all without commitment. The magnetic surface keeps pieces exactly where you put them.

03 — Expand your surface

Gridboards connect like a puzzle

Each planner includes two gridboards. Connect them to create a bigger surface. Add a second pair for larger homes or projects. The puzzle connection keeps everything aligned at 1/4" = 1' scale.

04 — Draw, sketch, or both

Use the Sketchpad alongside your pieces

Prefer to draw your own walls? Place furniture pieces directly onto a hand-drawn Sketchpad plan. Use the Planning Pens for clean, scaled drawings. The Sketchpad works with or without the gridboards.

We just received the Planora ROOM PLANNER 1:50 kit, and it’s absolutely fantastic. We truly appreciate the quality and thoughtfulness behind every detail. Even the box itself feels beautifully designed and crafted.

We also ordered the drawing kit, and it carries the same level of care and attention to detail as the rest of the set. Thank you for creating something so well considered. It also feels like excellent value for what you receive.

You’ve managed to bring to life an idea that many architects have probably been thinking about for years, a beautifully made kit that is not only highly useful in the office design process, but also helps clients understand space in a much more intuitive and engaging way.

Idee gut, Umsetzung eher billig

Für den Preis nicht hochwertig genug. Einzelne Wände sind beim rauslösen gebrochen, festkleben funktionierten leidlich aber damit geht die Möglichkeit verloren etwas zu ändern. Eine Lochplatte mit Stecksystem würde hier besser funktionieren.

Ansonsten sind im Starterset deutlich zu wenigMöbel (insbesondere Regale).

Hello, i think the kits are amazing, the only thing is I ordered the trio thinking I would get 3 different kits and got 3 of the same. Could we rectify this somehow.

An excellent way to design

We haven't started planning yet, but the room planner looks amazing. We can't wait to start designing. The room planner has every feature we will need to help mark out each room
